The midterm elections will be key in protecting the progress unions have made as well as strides made in the Black community. In the 2022 midterm elections, Pew Research data finds that the Black vote could play an increasingly important role in determining the outcome, particularly in Georgia where Blacks account for a third of eligible voters and could determine which party controls the US Senate next year. Nationally, Blacks are predicted to account for 13.6 of all votes in November.
